She’s flown to Hyderabad for fake passport case

The CBI investigators, who extradited the two from Portugal, brought Monica to Hyderabad from Mumbai by an Indian Airlines flight. She is likely to be produced before the magistrate’s court here tomorrow. Monica’s Andhra connection is interesting. It was from Kurnool, a district headquarter town, that Salem obtained passports on fictitious names and addresses for himself; his wife Shabana and Monica in July 2002. Salem posed as Kamal Malik, Shabana as Nehana Asif Jafri and Monica became Sana Malik. The regional passport office at Hyderabad issued the passports to all three.
