MUMBAI, July 18: Jay Shah’s three goals saw Fatima, Vidyavihar hand out a 6-0 drubbing to St Xavier’s Boys Academy in an under-16 III-B league match of the Mumbai Schools Sports Assocation’s Inter-School Football tournament at the Azad Maidan today.

While Shah got three goals, Shivam Kapoor wasn’t far behind netting two. Hariharan was the other goal-scorer.

In another one-sided encounter, Holy Cross, Kurla defeated Anjuman Allana 5-0 in a Division IV B match held at the same venue. Shannon Pariera and Ashish Saroj booted two goals each while Ronald Menezes added one to complete the rout.

Atomic Energy Central School, Anushaktinagar got past Don Bosco `C’, Matunga 4-1. Jitendra Palekar’s brace was the highlight with Anjul Lakra and Sandeep Thakur adding one each.

Joshua Texeira brought some consolation for the losers by netting a goal.

Tractors halt Fr Agnel’s run

Arunava Kantilal’s brace today was good enough for Mahindras Tractors to halt Father Agnel’s unbeaten run in the WIFA Senior Division league at the Cooperage. Tractors emerged a convincing 3-1 winners.

Nigel Mathias scored the third for Tractors whileSebastiao Endro landed the consolatory goal for the losers.

In a first division match, Naval Civilians beat Goan Sports Association 4-1.S Sudhir netted two while Sanjay Kar and P Subramanium added one each to the tally.

Savio Dias reduced the margin for the Goans.

In a III Division match, Celtic Boys drew their match against Allies Sports Club 1-1. Abdul Rashid scored for Celtic while Fahim Khan equalised for Allies.
