“This step is a reminder of the Government’s commitment towards the welfare of farmers and development,” she said adding that the Union Government has also done its bit by increasing the Minimum Support Price of wheat and paddy recently.

In Bhiwani to pay tribute to former Haryana minister Surender Singh by unveiling his statue in a function organised by his wife and Haryana Minister Kiran Choudhary, Sonia appreciated the Government’s decision to allot plots of 100 sq yards to the poor and safai karamcharis in all villages of the state under it’s Gramin Vikas Yojna.
