Payyannur (Kerala), Feb 12: In A thrilling encounter, formidable Services outclassed hosts Kerala to end their dream run with an all-win record in the Group-II leg of the National Volleyball League on Saturday.
Services, who pulled off an upset win over holders Punjab, had to draw out their best to overcome the spirited hosts in a five-setter. They surpassed the Kerala men 21-25, 18-25, 32-30, 25-22, 15-12 to register their fifth win in the league. The outcome did not not matter much as both teams had already made it to the Super League. The third entrant to the Super League would be decided after thefinal match between Delhi and Kerala Youth. In another match, West Bengal eves beat Delhi 25-22, 25-18, 25-14 in straight sets.
