The selection committee meeting to choose the Indian squad for the five one-day international series against Sri Lanka has been put off by a day and will be held on August 7.
“The selection commitee meeting will be held in Mumbai on August 7,” Cricket Board Secretary Niranjan Shah informed without assigning the reasons for the postponement from the earlier scheduled August 6.
The selectors were also expected to choose the Champions Trophy squad on the same day.
We will try and fix the Champions Trophy squad also, the BCCI official said.
The one-day series in Sri Lanka is set to commence on August 18 while Champions Trophy is scheduled in Pakistan from September 12.
