PUNE, March 3: Vice-Chancellor of Pune University, Vasant Gowariker, observed on Sunday that the country had a promising future because of the convincing scientific temperament among children. He was addressing students after giving away the prizes of the Science Study Competition organised on the occasion of Science Day at the Fergusson College Amphitheatre.

The concept of science day is taking firm roots in society, Gowariker observed.
