A day after the Pakistan Supreme Court rejected Sarabjit Singh’s appeal over his conviction in a 1990 Lahore bomb blast, his lawyer has petitioned the court to review the death penalty it upheld last month for three other bomb blasts.“We have pointed out some legal flaws and irregularities committed during the trial and on the basis of this we have pleaded that the court review the death sentence,” Sarabjit’s lawyer, Rana Abdul Hameed, said. —Reuters
