In a A-I division match at Shanti sports complex, Jitender Pandey’s 44 and a fine spell by Ashwani Kapoor (3 for 12) enabled Pelicans beat Delhi Audit by one wicket. Chandersekhar’s 53 went in vain for the losers.

Delhi Audit electing to bat first failed to capitalise on the toss and folded making 154 in 36.2 overs. But their bowlers fought well to bring some sanity and captured crucial wickets at regular intervals against Pelicans. However, Pelicans stood the test well to romp home winners with a wicket spare in the last over.

At Kotla, in a A-II division match, Young Association triumphed over Paragon by 66 runs. Amit Sharma (62) and Sanjeev Berry (40) were the main contributors for Young Association while Ravinder Gill (41) and Amit Kanoji were the principal scorers for Paragon.

Brijesh Oberoi’s unbeaten spell of 80 and excellent spell by Yougesh Kukreti (4 for 36) enabled Vipul Sarees outplay Delhi Telecom by nine wickets in B division at Kotla 2 while Ashoka outwitted Ministry of Information and Broadcasting by six wickets in a C division game at Palam. Ajay Sharma (52 not out) and Rajbir Verma (35) were the principal scorers for the winners while Rakesh contributed 29 for the losers.
