CHANDIGARH, June 23:Functions by local Congressmen marked the 18th death anniversary of Sanjay Gandhi, here today.The Chandigarh Territorial Youth Congress observed the day by holding a tree-plantation function at Maloya village, where youth leaders planted about 300 saplings. CTCC executive member Chander Mukhi Sharma was the chief guest. Rajwant Rai Sharma, Vikram Sharma and Amarjit Singh Gujral, Youth Congress general secretaries were also present on the occasion.Meanwhile, at another function, Congressmen Gurbachan Singh, J.N. Shastri and Rajesh Sharma, besides other leaders remembered Sanjay Gandhi and the works done by him.
