CHANDIGARH, Nov 2: Yash Pal Saggi, the contractor who had been arrested by the UT Vigilance Cell on October 29, has been admitted to General Hospital, Sector 16, on medical grounds.Saggi had been arrested in connection with the kickbacks case being investigated by the Cell. He was in police remand till today. However, he had to be admitted to the hospital yesterday on account of ill health. Sources reveal that Saggi has undergone two bypass surgeries already. He has been remanded to further judicial custody till November 14.
