
MUKTSAR, Dec 6: CHIEF Minister Parkash Singh Badal here today said the Vajpayee Government at the Centre will complete its term and expressed confidence that it would neither fall nor be deserted by any coalition partners.
Badal, while talking to mediapersons at the residence of Bhai Harnirpal Singh Cuckoo (SAD) Vidhan Sabha member here said that before the expansion in the Union Cabinet yesterday by inducting Jaswant Singh, Parmod Mahajan and Jagmohan, the prime minister should have taken into confidence all its coaltion partner.
The chief minister urged Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee to take into confidence all the coalition partners in future.
Replying to a question, he said that all the coalition partners were united and there were no differences over the performance of the Bhartiya Janata Party in the Vidhan Sabha elections just concluded in four states. All the coalition partners were unitedly supporting the Vajapyee government, Badal asserted.
Regarding difference of Akali Dal Youth Wing and the resignation of its president Amrik Singh Aliwal, MP, the CM said that all these matters would be settled amicably and everything would be set right by reconstituting the entire youth wing.
He also stated that he had directed all his ministerial colleagues to hold meetings of both Akali Dal and BJP workers and redress their grievances whenever they visited the constituencies.
