PUNE, March 1: Sachin Kamble’s unbeaten knock of 140 was the highlight of Sunrise Cricket Club’s mammoth 178 run victory against Jai Cricket Club in the ongoing late Sadu Shinde cricket league tournament conducted by the Poona District Cricket Association.

Riding on Sachin’s unbeaten knock Sunrise piled up a huge total of 277 runs. Bowler Harshad Desai put on a good bowling performance scalping 5 wickets. Later Jai CC crumbled abruptly managing just 77 runs on the board. Parag Jain and Zuber Inamdar bagged three wickets apiece.

Sudhir Eleven: 67 (Anil Sinnarkar 4/22) lost to Hadapsar Cricket Club: 72 for 3 (Suhas Gawas 26).

Ganesh Cricket Club: 137 (Manoj Phatak 46, Nilesh Wadekar 27, Pradeep B 4/17) lost to Phoenix Cricket Club: 140 for 2 (Prasad Mahadik 66 n.o., Raja Roy 44).

Shrikrishna Cricket Club: 166 (Nitin Ranaware 60, Baban Ranaware 27, Vitthal G 3/20) lost to CAFVD: 139 for 7 (Ganesh Garsund 59, Mahindra Dhankude 3/37).
