South Korea will award USD50,000 to each of its athletes who wins a gold medal in next month's Beijing Olympics, an official on Wednesday said. The financial rewards for medal winners are to be more than double those given for the 2004 Athens Olympics, according to the Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture.
