
RPG Retail, which after its break-up with Dairy Farm International (DFI), will be reduced to a Rs 400 crore turnover company, is targetting revenues of Rs 3,000-crore by 2008. The company also plans to go international.
Announcing this, RPG Enterprises Vice-Chairman Sanjiv Goenka informed that the split is scheduled to be formalised by June 30.
‘‘In the next 12 months we hope to take Music World international. We are looking at about seven countries in the neighbourhood,’’ he explained.
Meanwhile, the company has inducted Jitu H. Mehta as the president of the retail business being rechristened Spencer’s Retail. — ENS
