Senior RJD leader Shivanand Tiwari today slammed his externment by the DM of Siwan, saying he would defy the ‘‘unconstitutional’’ order and enter the district on April 9.

In a letter to Siwan DM C.K. Anil, copies of which were released to the press, Tiwari charged him with ‘‘infringing a citizen’s democratic and constitutional right by exceeding his authority’’.

Tiwari said he would visit Siwan in defiance of the DM’s order on April 9 ‘‘and I am not bothered about any action against me’’. He was externed from Siwan for two months for his alleged utterances against Anil at a function also addressed by RJD chief and Railway Minister Laloo Prasad Yadav.

Meanwhile, the Patna HC on Wednesday ordered the Bihar DGP to submit details of houseguards and bodyguards provided to persons with criminal antecedents and the payment made for the services as per the police manual. The HC asked DGP Narayan Mishra, present in court, to submit the details by April 11.
