The Sri Lankan team, led by Marvan Atapattu, along with coach Tom Moody and spin wizard Muttiah Muralitharan arrived in Chennai on Tuesday morning from Bangalore forthe first Test to be played from December 2 to 6 at MAC Stadium here.

The team which had earlier played a three-day warm-up match against Board President’s XI at Bangalore looked relaxed. The player’s body language suggested that they have put behind their crushing one-day series defeat to India and are keen to start the Test series on a fresh note.

Atapattu along with Moody and Muralitharan had a look at the Chepauk wicket in the afternoon. Atapattu and Muralitharan had a light nets session at Chepauk.
