Accused shoe-bomber Richard Reid has offered to plead guilty to all criminal charges against him if the US Government withdraws accusations that he received training from the Al Qaeda.

Prosecutors immediately rejected the request and said they had reached no plea deal with Reid. His lawyers had requested deletion of two paragraphs from the indictment that allege he received training from Al Qaeda.
