Rifle shooter Anjali Bhagwat of CISF is the only Indian to qualify for the Olympics so far.

Among the three Indians — Moraad Ali khan and Gaurav Sondhi being the other two — Rathore is the nation’s best bet for an Olympic berth in the event.

Rathore is in excellent form and consistently shot in the range of 146-147/150, said India coach Prof Sunny Thomas.

“The shooters will be looking to put up their best show as even a fifth spot behind the four who have already qualified will fetch them an Olympic quota place,” he said.
