MUMBAI, MAY 12: Chief Minister Narayan Rane today shifted the State's guardian ministers, necessitated by the creation of new districts.Newly-inducted Minister of State for Home, Bala Nandgaonkar, has been appointed as Guardian Minister for Nasik district in place of Babanrao Gholap, who resigned following charges of corruption.Finance Minister Mahadev Shivankar, who was minister in charge of Bhandara, has been shifted to the newly-created Gondia district, while the Minister of State for Commerce, Ramesh Gajbe, will replace him.Cooperation Minister Diwakar Raote has been shifted from Thane to Nanded, while Transport Minister Gajanan Kirtikar has been appointed in his place. Rural Development Minister Prabhakar More will the new Guardian Minister for Kolhapur district, in place of Minister of State for Home, Ramdas Kadam, who has been shifted to Ratnagiri. Minister for Marketing, Jaiprakash Mundhada, has been appointed Guardian Minister for the newly-created Hingoli district, while Minister of State forIndustries, Ashok Shinde, will be in charge of Parbhani district.
