Maintaining his fine form Jyoti Randhawa cruised to yet another top-15 at the Shinhan Donghe Open, which was won by Korean Hur suk-ho in Seoul yesterday. Rounds of 68, 70, 73 and 74 saw Jyoti finish 14th over a typhoon hit weekend. He tied Daniel Chopra, who had a similar tournament total of three-under-par, while Amandeep Johl finished 21st with rounds of 70, 69, 73 and 75.The biggest upset of the tournament was Arjun Atwal, the current Davidoff Order of Merit leader, who missed the cut after carding rounds of 75 and 74. However, the Calcutta pro still leads the rankings with his earnings of $173,188 for the year, so far. Atwal will try and maintain his lead when he tees it up in Seoul on Thursday as he plans to head back to Europe after this event, but will be back in time to play in Taiwan, the following week.Harmeet Kahlon carded an opening round of 72, followed by a 74, which saw him miss the halfway cut, which was applied at one-under-par. Delhi’s Arjun Singh had no such problems and was well placed going into the weekend with rounds of 68 and 72, but withdrew and had to miss playing over the weekend.Vivek Bhandari and Gaurav Ghei have been in India, coaching with Italian coach Donato de Ponziano and will head back to Korea, where the tour stops for a second consecutive week before heading to Shanghai.Meanwhile, Jeev Milkha Singh jetted back to Europe after two weeks in Japan and finished 54th at the BMW International Open. He carded an opening round of one-under 71, followed by a 69. Jeev had the ingredients required for a strong finish if he could maintain his momentum over the weekend and conjure some low numbers. On the contrary, average scores of 71 and 72 saw him finish just five-under, 19 strokes short of Thomas Bjorn who won with a total of 24-under-par. Jeev is currently 175th on Volvo Order of Merit and a few good finishes will be enough for him to keep his card on the European tour.
