CHENNAI, February 16: Superstar Rajnikanth on Sunday night declared that his support for the DMK-TMC combine will continue and asserted that AIADMK supremo J Jayalalitha had not changed her ways.

Talking to media persons at his Poes Garden residence, Rajnikanth appealed to members of Rajni Rasikar Manrams, who he said were spread in all the political parties including the AIADMK, should not misuse the name of the Rajni Rasikar Manram or his own name to canvass for any party other than the DMK-TMC combine. At the same time, the superstar said they were free to vote for anyone they wanted in their individual capacity and that he would not interfere in their personal preferences. "My fans are very important to me. Also, I am not against the AIADMK, but only against its leadership (Jayalalitha)."

The filmstar said he will take a decision on campaigning in the second phase in consultation with Chief Minister M Karunanidhi and TMC chief G K Moopanar.
