KOCHI, April 8: CBI special judge today remanded Rajmohan Pillai, who was arrested the other day in a bank fraud case, to judicial custody till April 20.
After the interrogation, which extended right till midnight on Wednesday, CBI sleuths presented him before the CBI court which is trying the case.
Though the bail application of Pillai was moved before the court, the CBI prayed for time and the case was adjourned for Friday.
According to CBI sources, Pillai fully cooperated with the investigating officers, but flatly denied the charges levelled against him. Pillai reportedly maintained he was trapped in the financial fraud case and was an innocent victim8217; of a conspiracy.
