NEW DELHI, DEC 13: The third and final one-day cricket match between India A and West Indies A at Granada was abandoned due to rain midway through the Indian innings, giving the hosts a 1-0 series victory. India, chasing 150 for victory in a rain-curtailed 30-overs-a-side clash yesterday, were struggling at 61 for seven when the match was called off after rain started pouring again, according to information received here. The Caribbeans had won the first match at Barbados, while the 2nd one-dayer was washed out.

Yesterday, the hosts made 149-7 with Chris Gayle (44) and Azeemul Hanif (30) being the topscorers. Mohd Kaif (4-3) was the best of the Indian bowlers. India were saved from certain defeat playing in bad light after Rawl Lewis (2-10), Nixon McLean (1-9) and Wavell Hinds (1-7) had rattled their innings when rain intervened.
