Govt okays payment of bonusNEW DELHI: The Union Government has approved payment of productivity linked bonus (PLB) for all its employees for 1996-97 wherever it is applicable. Accordingly, bonus would be granted to all Central Government employees in Group C and D And all non-gazetted employees in Group B, an official release said here today. Wherever PLB is paid, it varies from 19 to 67 days wages. The government had approved grant of ad hoc bonus wherever PLB scheme was not applicable.
