Delhi riots: Bhagat freed in one case
NEW DELHI: A city court on Friday acquitted former Union minister H K L Bhagat in one of the two murder cases relating to 1984 anti-Sikh riots. Additional Sessions Judge O P Dwivedi of Karkardooma Court said the prosecution failed to bring sufficient evidence before the court against Bhagat and two other accused.
New Goa Governor
PANAJI: Mohamad Fazal was today sworn-in as the Governor of Goa at a simple ceremony at the Raj Bhawan. He succeeds Gen retd J F R Jacob, who has been transferred as Governor of Punjab.
