NAGPUR, Jan 30: The sitting Lok Sabha member, Banwarilal Purohit, who was denied a Bharatiya Janata Party ticket for exposing the multi-crore coal deal of Ispat group, has decided to hold a meeting of his supporters here on February 2 to decide whether to contest the Lok Sabha elections. The meeting would also decide whether he should seek a ticket from a recognised party or contest as an independent.
“I already held a meeting of my well-wishers and supporters here yesterday. However, the final decision will be taken on February 2”, he said. He denied that he met the Congress chief Sitaram Kesri for a party ticket from Nagpur.
