AMRITSAR, Feb 16: The condition of Akal Takht Acting Jathedar Giani Puran Singh, who had suffered a mild heart attack yesterday, remained stable today. He has been kept on observation for 72 hours in intensive care unit of Guru Ram Dass Hospital.
An official spokesman today said he was given light diet but not allowed to move from his bed. He couldn8217;t perform his daily prayers.Sewa Singh Sekhwan, Information and Public Relations Minister, today went to see Giani Puran Singh in Guru Ram Dass Hospital. He also met Dr.Balbir Singh Cheema, cardiologist, attending on the Acting Jathedar. Sekhwan said health of Giani Puran Singh had improved.
