Punjabi film artist `harassed’

Chandigarh, May 18: A Punjabi film artist, Jarnail Singh Gogi, has alleged "harassment" by an NRI travel agent with the help of Punjab police personnel . Gogi, a resident of Sector 42, said that a Punjab police team from Nawanshahr landed at his residence on Sunday and ransacked his house.

He said in the past too he had been harassed by the Punjab police at the instance of the travel agent. He said he called the Chandigarh police and was saved through their intervention. city police sources acknowleged that they had gone to his residence. They added that on checking with the Punjab police it was found that they had a complaint against Gogi and had come for its verification.
