Amidst pin-drop silence and with concentration writ large on their faces, the students keenly absorbed every word uttered by their professor. Only, this was no ordinary lecture, but a successful group attempt by Pune-based management students at memorising random objects, which earned them a new world record on Sunday. The feat — Salam Kalam in honour of President A P J Abdul Kalam — saw 85 postgraduate students from the city’s Sadhana Centre for Management and Leadership Development (SCMLD) set new benchmarks, by memorising and recollecting over 250 random objects in a correct sequence.
