Patwardhan passes awaySunanda Patwardhan, a long time associate and member of the Krishnamurti Foundation, India, died here on Thursday. She was 73. She is survived by her husband.Patwardhan had played an important role in setting up the Sahtadri School and the Krishnamurti Study Centre at Chaskman near Pune. She had co-edited with Pupul Jaykar the talks and books by J. Krishnamurti. She was the editor of the Krishnamurti Bulletin for 17 years.Pushed to deathDattatrya Laxman Wadekar, a 49-year-old autorickshaw driver from downtown Raviwar Peth, who was seriously injured when he fell down after being allegedly pushed aside by a friend, succumbed to his injuries on Thursday.Shafi Gafur Shaikh (38) of Raviwar Peth, who allegedly pushed aside Dattatray, has been arrested by Khadak police and charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder.Police said both of them were in inebriated condition when Shafi pushed Dattatray on Tuesday evening. Seriously injured Dattatray was admitted to a private hospital where he died on Thursday.Dies in mishapSindhubai Murlidhar Jadhav (45) of Lohegaon was killed on the spot when an M 80 dashed against her on the road linking Lohegaon with Yerawada on Thursday.Sindhubai was walking near Khese Park when the vehicle hit her.
