The Bihar government on Tuesday ordered an official inquiry into the May 3 visit of incarcerated member of the dissolved Lok Sabha from Bihar Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav to Madhepura ahead of the elections in the district even as the BJP urged the Patna HC to look into the incident. State Home Secretary B.K. Haldhar said the government had ordered a detailed inquiry into the allegation against Pappu Yadav with respect to his visit to Madhepura. — PTI
