The Congress’ first family has gone into a huddle to ring in the new year at the Bangaram Island resort in Lakshadweep. While Priyanka and family and Rahul have been vacationing the past few days, Sonia Gandhi will join the celebrations tomorrow.Ending their brief sojourn here, Priyanka and Rahul Gandhi left for Bangaram Island resort in the Lakshadweep today. Priyanka’s husband Robert Wadhra and their two children are joined by Rahul’s Colombian companion, Juvenitta.Earlier in the day, Priyanka, her children and Juvenitta spent around 15 minutes in a houseboat in the backwaters close to the Kumarakom lake resort. They left for Bangaram around 11.30 am.Hotel authorities did not miss the opportunity to strike the right note. A full-gear ‘panchavadyam’ performance was held for the special guests.
