At least two persons were injured on Wednesday when a bomb went off on the route of a funeral procession in Dera Ismail Khan area of Pakistan’s troubled North West Frontier Province.
The bomb,which was planted in a house at Moriali in Dera Ismail Khan,went off before the funeral procession reached the spot witnesses were quoted as saying by TV news channels.
Moriali has witnessed violence and sectarian tensions in the past. Local residents said they believed the funeral procession was the intended target of the bomb.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack. There was also no official word on the incident.
