Scandal-hit Tiger Woods has checked into rehab in a last-ditch bid to repair his battered public image,say reports.
The shamed golf ace was reported to be “in recovery” at either the exclusive Meadows or Cottonwood clinics in Arizona,according to LA-based celebrity website X17.
A source told X17: “Tiger’s handlers feel that if he blames his cheating on addiction,the public will forgive him.”
However,it is not clear what sort of addiction Tiger is seeking treatment for. But the insider claimed it “obvious” that sex addiction would be at the top of the list.
It has also been alleged that Tiger has become hooked on the powerful painkiller Vicodin and the sedative Ambien.
Meanwhile,recent reports claim Tiger was spotted in Palm Beach with ”mistress” Rachel Uchitel.
