Santosh bags India’s first gold in Asian Indoor Games

Prateeksha Santosh bagged the first gold medal for India in the ongoing third Asian Indoor Games.

Maharashtra’s Prateeksha Santosh bagged the first gold medal for India in the ongoing third Asian Indoor Games here on Sunday,by winning the perform category of vovinam,a Vietnamese martial art games.

Apart from gold in the perform division,Santosh had also won a silver medal in the fight category of the sport.

Overall,India pocketed five medals from vovinam – one gold,two silver and two bronze respectively.
