Randhawa slips to 4th in Asian Tour Order of Merit

Ace Indian golfer Jyoti Randhawaslipped a rung to fourth in the Asian Tour Order Of Merit but Gaganjeet Bhullar held on to the sixth spot.

Ace Indian golfer Jyoti Randhawa on Monday slipped a rung to fourth in the Asian Tour Order of Merit but Gaganjeet Bhullar held on to the sixth spot.

Randhawa,who finished tied 16th at last week’s Panasonic Open in Japan,slipped to fourth with earnings of USD 284,496 while Bhullar remained sixth with USD 214,296.24.

China’s Liang Wen-chong moved up 30 places to take the ninth place.

Thai ace Thongchai Jaidee continues to lead the pack with earnings of USD 870,517 followed by American Anthony Kang in second place with USD 385,246.

The top-65 players on the Order of Merit will retain their full Asian Tour Tour cards for the 2010 season. The minimum number of tournaments that players require to play to keep their ranking is nine this year.
