King out with injury,Howard uncertain

England midfielder Ledley King is expected to miss their next match against Algeria on Friday after injuring his groin against USA.

England midfielder Ledley King is expected to miss their next match against Algeria on Friday after injuring his groin against USA. King was replaced by Jamie Carragher after halftime in Saturday’s Group C game. England coach Fabio Capello said he expected King to be fit again only in time for England’s last group game against Slovenia on June 23.

Meanwhile,USA coach Bob Bradley isn’t sure how seriously injured goalkeeper Tim Howard was after a collision with Emile Heskey on Saturday. “He’ll be evaluated later today and then a decision will be made,” Bradley said,adding nothing could be said now about Howard’s participation in Friday’s game against Slovenia.
