Continuing doubts over the fitness of Australian fast bowler Shaun Tait have left the selection of the pace attack for Sundays fifth ODI against England up in the air.

I think its important for Taity he bowls in the nets in the next couple of days to be right for Brisbane, Clarke said.

I dont think its smart to just take someone into a game who hasnt done any bowling at all since being injured, he added.

The last time Tait bowled 10 overs in a day,which will be a key requirement for him at the World Cup,was June last year against England,when he took 3-28 at Old Trafford.

Australia currently leads the seven-match series 3-1.
