Continuing doubts over the fitness of Australian fast bowler Shaun Tait have left the selection of the pace attack for Sundays fifth ODI against England up in the air.
Tait,on the comeback trail from a three-month lay-off following elbow surgery last October, injured a gluteus muscle in Australias win over England in Hobart ODI.
He later missed the fourth ODI in Adelaide.
Stand-in captain Michael Clarke described Taits situation as a day-to-day process.
I think its important for Taity he bowls in the nets in the next couple of days to be right for Brisbane, Clarke said.
I dont think its smart to just take someone into a game who hasnt done any bowling at all since being injured, he added.
The last time Tait bowled 10 overs in a day, which will be a key requirement for him at the World Cup,was June last year against England, when he took 3-28 at Old Trafford.
Australia currently leads the seven-match series 3-1.
