Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot announced a cash reward of Rs one crore for the state Ranji team,which won its maiden Ranji trophy title by defeating Baroda. He also announced to allocate a 16.18 hectare land on ten per cent of reserved rate to Rajasthan Cricket Academy for the proposed construction of a modern cricket stadium with international facilities here,according to an official. Gehlot and RCA President & Union Minister Dr C P Joshi also congratulated the team by telephone. The CM said in his message that the team has created history and the achievement would inspire other players in the state.
