A day before they face arch-rivals East Bengal in an I-League derby,Mohun Bagan made it to FIFAs website,with the footballs governing body acknowledging the Green and Maroons golden run 10 wins on the trot in Indias premier domestic competition on its homepage. Bhaichung Bhutia & Co,who had just three points from their first five matches,hit a purple patch thereafter and are now perched at the top of the league with 33 points from 15 matches. And while East Bengal are also coming from back-to-back wins against Air India and Vasco,they are yet to prove their mettle against a tough opponent. The striking duo of Sunil Chhetri and Yusif Yakubu are their best bet. Out of contention,with just 19 points to their credit so far,an upset on Sunday could be a saving grace for East Bengal.
