Anti-corruption protests in India an internal matter: US

Although US supports peaceful freedom of expression and assembly,it plays no role in it.

The US has asserted widespread protests in India against corruption is an internal matter and it is confident that New Delhi will tackle the popular concerns using democratic tools.

“Let me start by saying that the ongoing situation in India is an internal matter for Indians. The US does not play any role in this,” State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland said.
