26/11 suspects arrested in Pak to have in-camera trials

The trial of all the nine suspects arrested by Pak authorities in connection with Mumbai terror attack would be held in camera.

The trial of all the nine suspects arrested by Pakistani authorities in connection with the Mumbai terror attack would be held in camera at the Adiala Central jail,The Dawn reports.

Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has asked for strict security provisions at the Adiala Central jail where they would be tried under the Anti-Terrorism law.

“All suspects would be kept in ‘high security barracks’ in Adiala. The agency has requested the federal government to deploy Rangers for additional security,” sources said.

The agency has also asked for bullet proof vehicles for transporting the suspects fearing an attack.

According to reports,the FIA has asked the government to allocate 20 million rupees for the expenses during the prosecution.
