Two personnel of a local militia were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the restive Balochistan province of southwest Pakistan,officials have said. The gunmen opened fire at a check post of the Levies militia in Jao tehsil of Kharan district yesterday,killing two personnel instantly. The attackers managed to escape. No group claimed responsibility for the attack though such incidents are usually blamed on Baloch nationalist insurgents.
