PUNE, May 25: Coming back twice in regular time and once in the tie-breaker, Shivajians got the better of Jolly Rangehills while Strikers prevailed over Pune City Police 3-1 in the Kishorilal Momorial Football tournament at the Ghorpuri Military ground today.The disbanded Shivajians made a remarkable comeback against the spirited Jolly Rangehills. The latter came cropper against the fine placement of the Shivajians who scored four of the five that were for the taking while Jolly Rangehills could not find the net even only once in the shoot-out. The teams split four goals equally in the regular 70 minutes of play.Nevertheless, it was Shivajians 'keeper - the former India junior hockey keeper - Prakash Rawat who was responsible for their first triumph in the tournament, his quick reflexes and superb anticipation bringing about three saves. Bhimrao Ohal (32nd) and S Chaudhary (50th) scored for the Jolly Rangehills while Dal Pau (50th) and the all-important equaliser was scored by Cedric Fernandes in the 58th minute of play.In the shoot-out Cedric Fernandes, Vikram Pillay, Nagul Vivek and Giri Charles were successful for Shivajians, while all the attempts of Jolly Rangehills were averted by Prakash Rawat. After a barren 70 minutes Strikers found the net through Victor Thambi, Baptist Lobo and Alex Sagayam in the shoot-out.
