CHENNAI, July 26: The post-mortem report of the body of Manjula, a housewife from Thiruvanmaiyur, revealed that she was throttled to death, and marks of injury were found on her body that was exhumed some days ago from her bedroom. Her husband, Sekar, an artist, has confessed to the crime. Sekar had become agitated when his wfie gave Rs 300 meant for their children's school fee, to their neighbour and throttled her. For fear of being detected, he buried her in the floor of their bedroom and cemented the walls and windows. He had later put his children in a nearby hostel and absconded. He was arrested while attempting to flee.
