Australian captain Ricky Ponting said England thoroughly deserved to win the Ashes on Monday for the first time in 18 years. "It looked like it was set up to be another really good game today but through the course of this series we just haven’t been good enough to capitalise on the opportunities we have been presented with," Ponting said.England captain Michael Vaughan paid tribute to his team after they drew the final Test. “It’s an amazing feeling,” Vaughan said.
