Pondicherry, March 23: The budget session of the Pondicherry Assembly will begin on March 27.

According to a communique from the assembly secretariat, the annual financial statement for the year 2000-2001 will be presented in the house the same day.

The session was earlier scheduled to begin on March 24, but following the sudden political developments in the Union Territory leading to the resignation of the DMK Government and induction of a Congress-led government headed by P Shanmugham, has been rescheduled to meet on March 27.

The session would begin with the customary address by the Lt Governor Dr Rajni Rai.

Premji said that Wipro would partner with the Government "to find a lasting solution for Bengaluru's mobility challenges".
