Labourer stabbed to deathFour youngsters stabbed a labourer to death at Sector 37, Phase VI, Khamdsa, yesterday. Another labourer who tried to intervene was hit on the head by an iron rod. The police said that Manzil, Manwa, Chaman and Lalpatu beat up the labourer, Prakash, after a quarrel. Manzil then stabbed Prakash with a knife in the neck and back. He died on the spot.Another labourer, Santosh, was witness to the incident. He along with Ashraf, tried to stop the miscreants and get Prakash freed. The two were, however, beaten up and Chaman hit Santosh with iron rod, injuring him.One cop dead, another hurtTwo constables, Rajender and Bodan Lal, were involved in a fatal accident when their motorcycle was involved in a collision with a truck near Kanjhawala police station. The two were reportedly on their way to the police stationwhen their motorcycle was hit. Constable Rajender was said to be driving the bike. He died on the way to the hospital. The driver of the truck, Om, was arrested.Security guard found murderedA security guard was found murdered at an export-house at 410, Santnagar this morning. Nothing has been reported missing from the spot.Doctor abducted, robbed, releasedA Kalkaji-based doctor was abducted by some unidentified men today morning and then released after they robbed him of money. The doctor, A K Mishra, was allegedly abducted from his Kalkaji house early today morning, robbed of Rs 6,500 and later released by his `abductors'.One arrested for stabbingA 22-year-old man, Bunty, was reportedly stabbed by Sombir in Block No 11, Trilokpuri, yesterday. The victim was admitted to Jai Prakash Narain Hospital and is reported to be out of danger. It is alleged that Sombir, who was reportedly known to Bunty, had demanded some money from him. When Bunty did not agree to give him the amount, Sombir stabbed Bunty in the chest. Sombir has been arrested.
