CHANDIGARH, MAY 1: As part of the tricentenary celebrations of the birth of the Khalsa, a play Ase doon saway hoe will be staged at the Tagore Theatre from May 4 to May 7. The play is based on Bhai Vir Singh's novel Bijai Singh.A tele-film titled Amar Khalsa will also be launched on May 7. The event is being organised by Sunehri Virsa. According to Arvinder Singh, coordinator of the organisation, the tele film will be the first in the series of three films to be produced depicting the Sikh heritage and culture during the same period.
