
A photo exhibition brings glimpses of beautiful Hungarian landscapes, architecture, history and culture
This one8217;s a sure shot delight for architecture and history lovers, for the Hungarian photographic exhibition is just about that. As part of the Hungarian cultural festival an exhibition of world heritage photographs are on display at Government Art Gallery- Sector 10. The focus is on eight Hungarian cities, each with a history, speciality and pull of its own. You can also read interesting facts and specifics on each view.
The architecture of the Millenary Benedictine Abbey of Pannonhalma, of the monastery, the church and the library gives you an insight into Hungarian traditions. Catch the flora and fauna of the Hortobagy National Park. If ancient is what you dig then the the cemetery of Roman era Pecsi will take you there. Various images of Peter and PAul burial chamber, early Christian mausoleum is rare view. There are also images of portrait of a young man, David, Adam and Eve. The town of Ferto gives you both stone and sea. A taste of Hungarian wine may yet be a far off option but you can at least see how its all done.
